£100 Mortal Kombat X Kollector's Edition includes Scorpion figurine by Coarse

There's a cheaper alternative, though.

Warner Bros has made a £100 Mortal Kombat special edition that includes a Scorpion figurine designed by Coarse.

The Mortal Kombat X Kollector's Edition by Coarse.

The Mortal Kombat X Kollector's Edition by Coarse includes the Scorpion figurine, right, alongside a Certificate of Authenticity signed by artists Sven Waschk and Mark Landwehr.

You also get an in-game Gold Scorpion skin, and a Scorpion skin inspired by the Cold War. This was a collaboration between developer NetherRealm and a fan artist from MKKollective.com.

Oh, and you get the game, too. The whole lot carries an MSRP of £99.99. Of note: this is available only for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Here's where things get a little complicated (komplicated?). There's also a non-Coarse Mortal Kombat X Kollector's Edition, simply titled the Mortal Kombat X Kollector's Edition, that includes a 28cm hand-painted Scorpion figurine, a steel pack and steel card, the Mortal Kombat X: Blood Ties Comic Book Volume 1, and the two Scorpion skins. This costs £89.99 and is available only for PS4 and Xbox One. Image of the gubbins is below.

There's more. The Mortal Kombat X Premium Edition is download only and includes the Kombat Pack (access to four add-on playable characters from "Klassic Kombatants to Iconic guest characters"). This costs £79.98 on PS4 and Xbox One, £64.98 on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and £59.98 on Steam.

And finally, there's the Mortal Kombat X Special Edition. This includes a steel pack and, controversially, Goro as a pre-order exclusive. So, you have to pre-order the Mortal Kombat X Special Edition through GAME, which has this exclusively in the UK, to get Goro when the game launches on 14th April.
