Xbox duo's card game Exploding Kitten taking Kickstarter by storm

There's a card game blowing up on Kickstarter that's designed by two senior Xbox bods.
The game, Exploding Kittens, is described as "a highly strategic kitty-powered version of Russian Roulette". You take turns drawing cards until someone draws an exploding kitten and loses the game.
The twist comes from cards with special abilities, be they peeking at cards to come, forcing cards on your opponent or shuffling the deck. Exploding Kittens is cute and colourful and steeped in black humour.
The Kickstarter campaign aired yesterday and raised its $10,000 goal in 20 minutes. It broke $100,000 an hour later and, now, a day later, stands at a whopping $1.5m.
It's created by three people, two of which are at Xbox: Elan Lee and Shane Small.
Remember the Halo 2 alternate reality game I Love Bees? Elan Lee was instrumental in making that. He's now chief design officer at Xbox Entertainment Studios. Shane Small makes interactive TV and movies for Xbox.
The third involve-ee is Matthew Inman from web comic The Oatmeal - the force behind the illustration and writing.
Seems like a nice thing. A $20 pledge secures you a copy of the game. $35 bags you the NSFW deck too, which was too naughty to give to everyone.
