League of Geeks has just announced that its debut game, Armello, will be coming to Steam Early Access on the 22nd of January, and will be available for PC, Mac and Linux.

Armello looks special: it's a digital hybrid of card and board games, and promises tactical riches delivered with glorious art and animation. Expect plucky frogs and noble bears. Expect a lot of flickering violet light.

Alongside a Steam page, Armello also has a new website, and the team has released the trailer below in a bid to ward off any Early Access weariness/wariness. I'm hoping to chat to League of Geeks about the project in a little more depth during the coming weeks.
