Five Nights at Freddy's 3 in development

"I am still here."

Five Nights at Freddy's 3 has been confirmed by series creator Scott Cawthon.

The developer updated his official site with the following teaser image saying "I am still here." The file name: "fnaf3", aka Five Nights at Freddy's 3.

If you thought the first 10 nights at Freddy's were bad, try five more.

When emailed about this teaser, Cawthon's auto-reply stated, "Five Nights at Freddy's 3 is in production! Please do not email me asking any questions about it; NO questions about FNaF3 will be read or answered!"

Cawthon received some criticism for releasing Five Nights at Freddy's 2 in November, a mere three months after the first game in the point-and-click survival horror series debuted in August 2014. Some argued it was a quick cash-grab, while others were pleased to see more Five Nights at Freddy's so soon. If FNaF3 follows suit, it could be out as early as next month.
