Video: Watch us play GTA 5 in first-person, live!

Ian's streaming all day.

It's shinier of course - Digital Foundry has detailed analysis of just how shiny it is - but the most notable new feature of Grand Theft Auto 5's new release on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 is a first-person camera mode.

This might not sound like much, but not only has it been a lot of work for Rockstar - creating interiors for every car, for starters - the word is that it changes the game experience quite considerably. It's harder, and some say more disturbing too, to enact your freewheeling, amoral crime fantasies from a sociopath's-eye view.

Even if you don't own the new game (or the console to play it on) you can judge for yourself this afternoon, as Ian will be streaming the game exclusively in first-person over on our YouTube channel. He'll be doing three 90-minute streams, starting at 1pm, and with half-hour breaks to eat, go to the toilet and reset his moral compass. That means you can catch him streaming at:

  • 1pm-2.30pm
  • 3pm-4.30pm
  • 5pm-6.30pm

All times are UK, so add an hour for central Europe. You can find the streams below:
