LittleBigPlanet Final Fantasy 7 remake finished

Cloud saved.

I can't do anything for two years - I certainly couldn't remake arguably the most famous JRPG, Final Fantasy 7, in LittleBigPlanet 2/3.

Turns out there was quite a lot more to do when I wrote about it in September 2012.

"I have managed to fit the entire story and side missions into 31 levels," creator Jamie Colliver explained to me on Twitter. "I believe it's the first full game remade start to finish in LittleBigPlanet's creator.

"I already have a battle system with Limit Breaks in place, every cut-scene/dialogue, all five material types using creatinators, all of the soundtrack, every character, boss, enemies and a world map."

Goodness me!

"I've worked extremely hard on it... it took me two years."

It's playable via LittleBigPlanet 3 on PS4, PS3 and Vita. It's also playable via LBP2 on PS3.

There are 113 videos documenting the project on Colliver's YouTube channel, which is what it seems he's trying to promote by doing this. He's a dab hand at recreating popular movies and entertainment brands in LittleBigPlanet.
