Assassin's Creed Unity - The Supreme Being, The Fall of Robespierre, The Temple, Germain

Our Assassin's Creed Unity walkthrough concludes with a complete guide to the final sequence of the game.

Simply follow Elise here until a new cut-scene begins. That's as tough as your first objective in the final sequence gets!

The Supreme Being

Next, take a look at your mini-map and look at the greyed-out bits. Those are your restricted zones, so as long as you don't enter them you can walk around as you wish. Extremists will still attack you, but general Soldiers will not.

Make your way to the north-east of this area until you come to a fence by a tower and some tents. As soon as the coast is clear, clamber up and into the tower, then shuffle along the ropes and trees until you're on a pole in the restricted zone. Make sure no-one's looking your way, then drop down and take out the guard with an Air Assassination.

You should now have an objective marker that's situated in the tent close by. Sneak quietly through the window, but be aware of the alarm bell nearby. Throw a Cherry Bomb at the two guards, sabotage the bell to finish your first Challenge, then go back in the tent and quickly take the book from the table to finish this objective.

Leave the tent via the window, then go over the fence until you're outside the restricted zone. Now head towards Elise, making use of Eagle Vision to avoid the attentions of the Extremists in this area.

You next need to deal with three waves of enemies. If they manage to confront Elise, you'll fail both the objective and the Challenge.

When you have control of Arno, go to the north-west haycart by the fence. When the guard wanders by, jump out and kill him with Hidden Blade. The next guard will approach from the north-east, so hide in the crowd until he gets closes to you, then take him out. The final assault comes from the south-west - get into the haycart, then kill both guards using the Double Assassination skill once they've gone past you.

Plant the Letters

Once you're done talking to Elise, get in the nearby haycart. When the guard turns around, kill him from your hiding spot. Now leave, get close to your target, then quietly plant the letter. Next, go to the north-west objective, then jump over the fence to the left of your target when get close. Enter via the window and kill the guard with your Hidden Blade, then plant the letter.

Head back to the safe area, and approach your third and final target from the north-east. To deal with the Extremists, fire off a Berserker Blade, then use the kerfuffle as a cover for you to sneak up and plant the last letter.

The Supreme Being Challenges

  • Sabotage one alarm bell
  • Don't let Elise get detected

The Fall of Robespierre

Begin by following Elise and listening to her dialogue. You should now be by a building. Go around to the left-hand side of it, slipping down the alley in order to speak with the soldier. When the cut-scene finishes, you'll automatically complete this objective.

When you leave the alley, take a look towards the north-east. You should be able to see another alley, and if you go down it you'll find another soldier. Go off in the direction he points to, then head down the second turning on your right, just before you come to a carriage. Talk to the third wounded soldier, then scramble up the wall to your east when you've finished talking. Keep going across the rooftops until you reach the shaded area to the south.

Stay on the rooftops as you chase your target down. Just keep heading after the marker on your map and you'll eventually trigger a new cut-scene.

From where you begin this next objective, go left and then leap over the rooftops. You should be able to see a Sniper nearby. Quietly get into position behind him and kill him with Hidden Blade. Next, jump over the road and grab one of the windows on the northern side of the next building.

Now, move around to the right-hand side so you're on the western wall. Hanging from this wall, look around to locate the three Snipers. Drop down to kill the first one with an Air Assassination, and without alerting his friends.

Go through the window and then get into cover by the door. When the Seeker wanders by, kill him with Hidden Blade, then head off in the direction he approached you from. When you get to the end of the corridor, get into cover and use Eagle Vision to locate the three Extremists in the next room.

When the wandering Extremist heads over to the left-hand wall, sneak in and kill the Brute with Hidden Blade, then do exactly the same to his friend. Next, get into cover behind the Sniper and take him down with a cover-kill.

From where you are at the window, you should be able to see a south-west room with three Extremists in it. Get into cover by the door and wait for the Brute to face away from the Seeker. Kill the Seeker with a Phantom Blade headshot, then finish off the Brute with Hidden Blade. Kill the other enemies nearby when you're done with these two.

Turn on Eagle Vision and look for the locked door to the east. Pick the lock but don't go inside as there's an enemy waiting for you - just getting it open will be enough to finish your Challenge. Now go through the other door and enter the room with Robespierre.

The Fall of Robespierre Challenges

  • Don't get into conflict
  • Lockpick one door

The Temple

From where you begin this final memory, take a right, then go up the wall of the compound to the south. Just wait up on top of the wall, then use a Phantom Blade on one of the Snipers when they turn their backs, then the other. Just take your time picking them off.

When both Snipers are dead, jump down into the haycart and kill the Extremist from your hiding place. When you've finished with him, get out of the cart and get into cover by the door. Turn on your Eagle Vision two get eyes on the two Extremists over on the other side. When one walks away, kill his friend with Phantom Blade, before finishing off the patroller when he returns.

Climb back up that wall, then get into cover behind the barrels. Look south towards the stairs and you should be able to spot a Brute and a pair of patrolling Extremists.

When the Brute's alone, climb up the wall onto the roof, then look north-east with your Eagle Vision to see the Sniper. Take him down with a Phantom Blade headshot, then kill the Brute using the same method. When the Extremists come patrolling over, drop down and take them out with a Double Air Assassination.

Go back to where you climbed the wall at the start of the mission and go east. Walk past the pair of Snipers, then kill the Extremist you come to using Hidden Blade. Next, climb up the tower to the rear of the Snipers, then finish them with a Double Air Assassination.

Carry on in a north-easterly direction and go up the stairs. Scramble up the wall on your right to get on the next roof, but make sure you do so when the Extremists aren't nearby. When they return, pick 'em off with a Double Air Assassination to complete the Challenge.

Go back up onto the roof, then head towards the slightly lower roof ahead. Kill the Snipers with your Phantom Blade, and turn Eagle Vision on if you're struggling to spot them. When they're dead, go south and note the patrolling pattern of the Sniper on the roof. When he returns, kill him with a ledge-kill, then get down onto the lower roof just south of where you finished off both Snipers.

From here, you should be able to see Extremists to your north and south. For now, look towards the ground level where Extremists, Seekers and Brutes await. Use Berserker Blade on one of them, then hit another when they start fighting. When the danger's passed, go to the south of the roof and repeat this process. Before going any further with this sequence, return to where you started this section, and top up all of your supplies.

Once you've stocked up, go towards the big castle in the centre of the restricted zone, and turn on your Eagle Vision to spot Germain. Get close to him to get a new cut-scene underway.

Assassinate Germain

When the cut-scene finishes, just keep running around the platform in a clockwise direction. When you find yourself directly behind Germain, get right up-close and stab him.

You'll now have to track him down to finish things off. When you reach the catacombs, use your Berserker Blade to deal with the Seekers and Brute, causing a massive commotion. While everyone's busy fighting, move inside and get on the trail of your target.

This is just like the last fight with Germain, except you're going to have to cut him up a total of three times. Keep running around in a clockwise direction, using your Eagle Vision to keep tabs on the direction Germain is facing.

Stab him when you can, then run away when you're back in control. Just don't stay still at any point, unless you're having to take cover to deal with Germain's signature attack. If you really want to mess with Germain's combat, try using Cherry Bombs to get him facing the wrong way around so you can stab him.

The Temple Challenges

  • Two alarm bells sabotaged
