Hyrule Warriors European limited edition includes a real scarf

And retailer-exclusive DLC in the US.

Nintendo has detailed the European special edition of Hyrule Warriors, which includes a copy of the game and a real-life replica of Link's new scarf.

Shown off this morning in a new Nintendo Direct, the snazzy blue accessory is emblazoned with a royal red trim and the Hylian Crest in red and gold. It's just the thing for when the evenings start to get a little chillier.

Japanese players got a LCD Triforce clock, while North American players get one of the three upcoming costume DLCs (the one you get depends on which retailer you buy it from).

Details of European releases for the costume DLC (which unlocks Link and Zelda's Skyward Sword, Twilight Princess or Ocarina of Time designs) will be announced soon.

All European players will be able to unlock two special Ganondorf costumes (for Twilight Princess and Ocarina of Time) if you register Hyrule Warriors via the Club Nintendo website before 17th October.

As well as Ganondorf, Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword baddies Zant and Ghirahim were announced as playable.

The confirmed character list now stretches to Link, Princess Zelda, Impa, Midna, Sheik, Agitha, Darunia, Princess Ruto, Zant, Fi, Ghirahim and Lana.

Characters and alternate weapons can be unlocked by dabbling in the game's Adventure mode, which includes a Zelda-like overworld split into Zelda NES-style chunks. Defeating each area unlocks a new region of the map to explore.
