Toki Tori dev reveals new 2.5D shooter Rive

Mech it or break it.

Dutch indie developer Two Tribes has announced its new project - a 2.5D platforming shooter titled Rive.

Headed to PC and unnamed consoles in early 2015, the part-platformer, part-shooter is the work of just three people.

Rive tasks you with controlling a diminutive robot through a series of 360-degree environments. You can shoot enemies - or alternatively reprogram them by collecting and uploading hacks.

Two Tribes is best known for its platformer Toki Tori and its sequel, both of which have received positive reviews.
