Lindsay Lohan sues Rockstar over allegedly using her likeness

Claims Lacey Jonas is an "unequivocal" reference to her.

Mean Girls and Freaky Friday star Lindsay Lohan is suing Rockstar over allegedly using her likeness in Grand Theft Auto 5.

Lacey Jonas.

The actress claims that the character Lacey Jonas is an "unequivocal" reference to her. Lohan reportedly threatened to sue last December, but only now actually filed the lawsuit.

For reference, Jonas is a not particularly endearing prima donna who the player needs to escort to her Hollywood (er, make that Vinewood) Hills home while avoiding the paparazzi. She complains that she looks fat (despite only sucking on french fries and spitting them into a bucket), has enough fans "to fill the country of Africa", and spent millions of dollars to lose her regional accent.

The lawsuit was filed today in a Manhattan court and it claims that Lohan's image, voice and styles from her clothing line are depicted in the game, along with West Hollywood's Chateau Marmont hotel where the actress once resided. It's worth noting that in the character's one appearance you don't pick her up or drop her off at said hotel, and thus the suit is suggesting that the hotel's very existence is a reference to her.

For further reference, we've embedded a video below of how Jonas actually appears in the game. Do you think she's based on Lohan?
