Microsoft doubles OneDrive storage size

And increases it to 1TB for Office 365 users.

Microsoft has doubled the amount of OneDrive cloud storage available to all users - it's now 15GB, up from 7GB.

Xbox One owners can use OneDrive to upload gameplay footage directly to the cloud, so you can export and access it from other devices.

In a new blog post, Microsoft said it had specifically picked 15GB as its data showed that three out of four people had less than 15GB of files stored on their PC.

But perhaps 15GB isn't enough? In that case you can subscribe to Office 365, Microsoft's version of Google Drive, and see your storage space increase to a whopping 1TB.

There are other offers too - $1.99 will get you 100GB storage from next month, while $3.99 will get you 200GB. Both of these prices have been dropped by 70 per cent over earlier costs.
