Original Ratchet & Clank being remade for PlayStation 4

There's a movie too.

Sony is re-making the original Ratchet & Clank game for release on PlayStation 4 early in 2015, the publisher has announced.

The re-release will come with snazzy PS4 visuals, Sony exec Andy House confirmed on stage during the platform holder's E3 2014 press conference.

Its launch will also tie into a new CG Ratchet & Clank movie, set to arrive around the same time.

The original Ratchet & Clank launched for PlayStation 2 back in 2002, kick-starting the franchise which now has around a dozen sequels.
