Phantom Dust to be remade for Xbox One

Admit it, you had to look that one up.

Well, this one came out of left field: Microsoft Studios' Ken Lobb has announced that the Xbox One will be getting a remake of cult original Xbox game Phantom Dust.

Phantom Dust, a Microsoft Studios production and part of the original Xbox's Japanese push, was an online tactical action game with card-battling elements, designed by Panzer Dragoon director Yukio Futatsugi.

Teasing the game's reveal, Lobb complemented its "great design". Then he showed a trailer showing two sorcerous characters facing off in a city plaza. The developer of the remake wasn't announced. Check the trailer below.
