FIFA on PC has for some time now lagged behind the console versions when it comes to features and, crucially, the game engine itself.

Not any more, EA has said.

The PC version of FIFA 15 uses the EA Sports Ignite engine, the one announced last year as powering all EA Sports games on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

"The PC version will include all the same core features coming to the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game," EA said.

Meanwhile, EA announced the recommended and minimum specifications for FIFA 15 on PC:

  • RAM: 8GB
  • Hard Drive Space Required: 15.0 GB
  • Supported Video Cards: ATI Radeon HD 6870, NVIDIA GTX 460
  • DirectX: 11.0

Minimum Required Specifications:
