Monster Hunter Freedom Unite for iPad and iPhone heading west

New trailer for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate released.

The iPhone, iPod touch, iPad, iPad mini and iPad Air version of Monster Hunter Freedom Unite is heading west, Capcom announced.

Originally released in Japan last month, Monster Hunter Freedom Unite for iOS includes higher resolution graphics, controls reworked for touch-screens, target camera options, support for Mfi (made-for-iPhone/iPad) controllers and online co-op via Wi-fi for up to four hunters.

Monster Hunter Freedom Unite was released on PlayStation Portable in 2009 and was a massive hit in Japan.

Meanwhile, Capcom released a new trailer for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, due out on Nintendo 3DS in the west early 2015.
