Sacred 3 release date brought forward to 1st August

It was ready so they're shipping it.

Diablo-alike Sacred 3 will be released earlier than originally thought. It will now appear 1st August rather than at the end of the month.

Apparently the game was ready so Deep Silver is shipping it. That's what a spokesperson for the company told Eurogamer this afternoon. Has nothing to do with the Ultimate Edition of Diablo 3 coming out 19th August, then.

Sacred 3 is in development for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360, and has online and offline co-op.

It's a long-running series created by developer Ascaron - a studio that closed in 2009. Deep Silver has taken the reins now.
