Grand Theft Auto 5 iFruit app now on PlayStation Vita

It's a fair Chop.

PlayStation Vita owners can now download Grand Theft Auto 5's iFruit companion app.

The Vita version of iFruit launched yesterday in North America, which means it is likely to pop up in the European PlayStation Store update today.

The free download, already available for iOS and Android devices, lets you check your LifeInvader profile and create and customise cars for use in the main game.

You can also look after and train Chop, Franklin's dog, in a Tamagotchi-style mini-game.

There's no word yet on any Vita-exclusive features, but the app may see more updates over the lifespan of the main game - especially if this is extended with a next-gen edition.
