Oculus Rift will let you train with the England rugby team

O2 and the England rugby team have announced Wear the Rose, a "360-degree virtual reality sports experience" for Oculus Rift that places you within a training session for the national team.

From the video below it looks like you'll be asked to jump, tackle and play catch with your favourite English stars - all from the comfort of your own home.

You'll get to take part in a team talk from Captain Chris Robshaw, receive a pass from fullback Mike Brown and then see hooker Tom Youngs' tackle.

"O2 and the revolutionary Oculus Rift technology take you into the heart of the English rugby team," Sean Ned Stark Boromir Bean teases. "Coming to you in 2014."

It's unclear exactly how interactive Wear the Rose will be, if at all - the experience was filmed to allow users an uninterrupted 360 degree view of what's going on around them. 160 hours of filming and 320 hours of development time was then used to match it all up:
