Call of Cthulhu game announced by Sherlock developer Frogwares

For PC and "next-gen consoles." Concept art revealed.

Sherlock Holmes and Magrunner developer Frogwares is working on a Call of Cthulhu game, publisher Focus Home Interactive has announced.

The reveal was made over Twitter, where the niche publisher released the following five pieces of early production art for the project.

Little is known about the game at this time, but Focus Home noted that it's coming to PC and "next-gen consoles," by which I'm assuming it means PS4 and Xbox One. One wonders what kind of game this will be. Will the perspective be in first-person or third? Will it be an action game, a puzzle game like Sherlock, or maybe a hybrid horror adventure like Bethesda's 2005 Xbox and PC offering Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth? I've sent the publisher a request for more info, and will update if I find out more.
