UPDATE #2 11/02/14: Ubisoft has updated its release schedule for the upcoming Far Cry compilation, The Wild Expedition. The bundle will now launch a week later - on 21st February rather than the 14th.

Meanwhile, Far Cry Classic - the downloadable re-release of the original Far Cry game - is available to download on Xbox 360 now, a day earlier than previously announced. Interested? You should try and catch Eurogamer's live stream of the game tonight at 5pm UK time to have a look first.

UPDATE #1 09/01/14: Ubisoft has announced that Far Cry Classic, the HD restoration of the first game in the series, will be coming to XBLA and PSN as a standalone release on 12th February in Europe.

The remake is also included in the Far Cry bundle, The Wild Expedition, but this ala carte version is a mere 7.99, rather than the bundle's 29.99.

ORIGINAL STORY 07/01/14: Ubisoft has told Eurogamer that new game Far Cry: The Wild Expedition is a collection of Far Cry games.

Which games? Far Cry 1, 2, 3 and Blood Dragon, apparently. And all at a knocked-down price (the trade price is lower, but what shops will settle on we'll have to wait and see).

Wild Expedition is due out on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on 14th February - known to some as Valentine's Day.
