Diablo 3 expansion Reaper of Souls launches for PC and Mac on 25th March 2014, Blizzard has announced.

You can pre-purchase the expansion digitally on Battle.net now.

The Digital Deluxe Edition (£49.99) includes an exclusive helm, weapon-transmogrification recipes and the Spectral Hound minion. You also get three additional character slots, an in-game Treasure Goblin companion pet for World of Warcraft, Crusader-themed Battle.net portraits and Malthael-themed decals for StarCraft 2. Phew!

In physical media land, there's a €79.99 retail-exclusive Collector's Edition (we're chasing the price in pounds) that comes with all that's in the Digital Deluxe Edition plus:

  • Malthael mouse pad, bearing the "impenetrable visage" of the Angel of Death
  • Hardback Collector's Edition art book, chronicling the game's artistic development
  • Behind-the-scenes Blu-Ray/DVD two-disc set, featuring in-depth interviews with the development team and members of the Diablo 3 community

And of course there's the Standard Edition (£32.99).
