Wii Sports Club has a new mode as of this afternoon, with golf joining tennis and bowling on Nintendo's Wii U.

Like the existing sports already available in the Wii U game, Wii Sports Club Golf supports Motion Plus, making it a more accurate and nuanced version of the Wii original. It's also available using a similar business model, with the ability to hire it for a set period of time or buy it outright.

Wii Sports Club Golf also uses the GamePad in a feature first glimpsed during the Wii U's initial reveal - the controller can be placed on the floor, allowing you to see the ball and letting you draw or fade your shot as you swing.
