The Pokémon Bank app, which lets players transfer their adorable little fighters, will launch on the 3DS eShop on 27th December, Nintendo has announced.

With Pokémon Bank players will be able to withdraw and manage up to 3000 Pokemon. They'll also be able to transfer their Pokémon between Pokémon X and Pokémon Y on the same 3DS.

Additionally, with the Pokémon Bank's linked application Poké Transporter, players will be able to transfer their critters from Pokémon Black, Pokémon White, Pokémon Black 2, and Pokémon White 2 to Pokémon X and Pokémon Y.

Using the Pokémon Bank will cost Ł4.49 / €4.99 / $4.99 per year, but players who sign up between 27th December and 31st January will receive a 30 day free trial.
