This is what building is like in EverQuest Next Landmark

Build a house! Build a tower! Build archways!

What is EverQuest Next Landmark? Sony Online Entertainment has released a new video that helps explain its Minecraft-inspired exploration and crafting companion to upcoming massively multiplayer online role-playing game EverQuest Next.

In the video, below, producer David Georgeson shows in-game footage that highlights how quickly players will be able to build structures such as houses, towers and archways in the game.

We get a good look at the editor and some detail on how players will be able to explore the various worlds the community has built.

As players play Landmark, SOE will build EverQuest Next, Georgeson said, and as development progresses the features the team create will be made available to players.

SOE is selling access to the EverQuest Next Landmark alpha, which goes live in February 2014, via Founder's Packs. The closed beta begins on 28th March 2014.
