Japanese publisher Kadokawa Games has announced Natural Doctrine, a strategy RPG for PlayStation 4, PS3 and Vita.

It's the first solo-developed title by Kadokawa, which has previously co-produced and published titles such as Suda51's Lollipop Chainsaw and Killer is Dead.

Sony presented a moody first-look trailer this morning during the company's just-finished Tokyo press conference.

"Assault through the world by natural selection," the teaser states.

Single-player and multiplayer modes are included, and the title will be cross-play compatible.

Watch the first in-game footage below. No word yet on whether it'll be released on these shores.
