The Shadow Warrior reboot dated for PC next month

Bloody new trailer shows Bulletstorm-esque ridonkulous violence.

The Shadow Warrior reboot is coming to PC on 26th September via Steam, GOG, Humble Store, and Get Games, publisher Devolver Digital has announced in its latest gruesome trailer.

Made by Hard Reset developer Flying Wild Hog, The Shadow Warrior reboot looks incredibly bloody in a Bulletstorm kinda way and even contains a scoring system similar to People Can Fly's under-appreciated cult-classic. Though unlike Bulletstorm - or most first-person action games for that matter - The Shadow Warrior places a lot of emphasis on melee combat. It's also extremely bloody in a cartoonish way, but it doesn't take itself too seriously, such as when lead character Lo Wang uses a severed demon's head as a weapon.

The Shadow Warrior is also slated for next-gen consoles sometime in 2014.
