Sony announces PlayStation 4 release date

Drumroll...

Sony has named a 29th November release date for PlayStation 4 in Europe.

In North America it will be available slightly earlier - 15th November.

32 countries will see the PlayStation 4 launch this side of New Year, Sony exec Andrew House confirmed.

More than a million pre-orders have already been received, House added.

Sony announced at E3 2013 that PS4 will cost $399/€399/£349 - £80 cheaper than Xbox One.
