Call of Duty: Ghosts confirmed for Wii U

Throws Nintendo's struggling console a bone.

Infinity Ward's highly anticipated Call of Duty: Ghosts aka "The One With the Dog," has now been confirmed for Wii U.

While a Wii U version of the game had been hinted at, it was never confirmed until today when a picture of its box art recently popped up on Nintendo's official Wii U Facebook page. Additionally, Activision noted that the upcoming game would feature Wii Remote and second-screen GamePad support.

Call of Duty: Ghosts will be out on 5th November on PC, Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii U. Xbox One and PS4 versions will follow shortly thereafter.
