The new Ace Combat game is for PlayStation 3.

Namco Bandai announced Ace Combat Infinity today with a brief teaser trailer, below. There's little information, save the tagline: "That day our sky fell, the heavens split to create new skies." Has a meteor struck earth?

Infinity is from long-standing Ace Combat developer Project Aces. The last game in the series, Ace Combat: Assault Horizon, launched on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, but Infinity appears to be a PS3 exclusive. Has the series gone free to play on Sony's console, as Namco Bandai's Tekken series has with Revolution?
