Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I DON'T KNOW! announced

The latest game inspired by Pendleton Ward's surreal cartoon Adventure Time is coming this autumn to PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and 3DS with Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I DON'T KNOW!

Developed by WayForward of Mighty Switch Force and Bloodrayne Betrayal fame, Adventure Time: ETDBIDK is the follow-up to the studio's last licensed game in the same universe, Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why'd You Steal Our Garbage?!!

While that game's top-down overworld and 2D platforming were cut from the same cloth as Zelda 2, Explore the Dungeon is more akin to a Diablo-style dungeon-crawler with up to four-player co-op support. It will also contain the animated series' voice actors, including John DiMaggio, best known as Futurama's Bender and Gears of War's Marcus Fenix.

See the preposterously named game in action in the debut trailer below.
