Mortal Kombat's Scorpion is the next DLC character in Injustice: Gods Among Us

Get over it dear.

Mortal Kombat's famous demon evil ninja thing Scorpion is the next downloadable character in Injustice: Gods Among Us.

He doesn't sit well with the DC Universe, but since Injustice was made by Mortal Kombat developer NetherRealm, I suppose it makes sense in the same way God of War's Kratos and Nightmare on Elm Street bad guy Freddy Krueger made sense in the last Mortal Kombat game.

The Scorpion in Injustice was designed by DC legend Jim Lee, and costs 400 Microsoft Points on Xbox 360 and £3.99 on PlayStation 3. The Wii U version wasn't mentioned, but publisher Warner Bros. has said the fighting game's DLC will be released on Nintendo's console at some point in the summer. Is it summer yet?

In the video below Lee and Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon have a chat about Scorpion's new design, Mortal Kombat and all the rest.
