Gothic role-player The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing will launch for PC via Steam on 22nd May, its developer has announced.

Hungarian indie studio NeocoreGames has also revealed new footage of the game, which details its classless skill trees and its anachronistic laser weapons.

Set in 19th century Eastern Europe, Van Helsing charts the wanderings of the titular vampire slayer. There's no Hugh Jackman, though.

Today's update failed to mention the game's Xbox Live Arcade version, although presumably that is also still on the way.
