The Conduit dev's Animales de la Muerte reincarnated as iOS tower defense game

Zoo human.

High Voltage Software, developer of Wii shooter The Conduit, has re-jigged its downloadable twin-stick shooter Animales de la Muerte for an iOS launch.

Animales de la Muerte was originally announced in 2008 as a Wii game. Three years later, the game was re-announced for launch on PC and on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 via PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade.

That release never materialised, and the game was quietly forgotten.

Until today, that is, when the re-titled, re-worked Zoombies: Animales de la Muerte! launched on the iOS App Store.

Priced just £1.99, the game is now a tower defense title.

It's changed enough to basically be a different game, although bits of music, art assets and the overall concept (killing infected animals in a zoo) remain.
