Skullgirls Indiegogo backers choose Eliza as third DLC character

What a lovely parasite.

The votes are in: Skullgirls will get Eliza added as a downloadable character, Zero Lab Games has announced.

Backers of the fighting game's Indiegogo campaign voted to decide which character, out of a list of many, would be added to the roster of playable characters. Eliza came out on top.

Eliza has two fighting modes, one that means her attacks are slow but powerful, and another that sees her become more mobile.

Developer Zero Lab Games describes her as the "ultimate attack-from-disadvantage" character. She has a kinship with her parasite, which sounds lovely, and can control her own blood. When she's hit she bleeds, and the blood stays on the stage. Some of her special attacks can use it.

Skullgirls' Indiegogo campaign raised a whopping $829,049 having asked for $150,000.
