Revengeance's Blade Wolf DLC dated for May in Japan

UPDATE: Dated and priced for Europe.

Update: It appears that Europe is getting the Blade Wolf DLC one week after Japan, Konami has announced.

It's now slated for a 14th May release on XBLA and 15th May on PSN. It will cost 560 MS Points or €6.99 respectively.

The DLC is said to contain an all-new boss battle, as opposed to the Jetstream Sam DLC which was comprised of pre-existing bosses with altered attack patterns.

Original story: Platinum Games' third and final piece of DLC for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, Blade Wolf, will arrive in Japan on 9th May, Konami has announced.

While a western date is yet to be announced, Revengeance's last DLC, Jetstream Sam, arrived the same week in Europe, Japan and North America (where it's a PS3-exclusive), so this will likely be the same case again. We're looking into getting confirmation on Blade Wolf's EU release and will update as we hear back.

The Blade Wolf DLC is priced at ¥1000, the same as Jetstream Sam, which was released in the west for £7.99 / €9.99 / $9.99.

This final piece of DLC will act as a prequel to the parent game and will place the player in the role of IQ-84i, a robot dog with a chainsaw on its back. What's not to like?
