3DS Animal Crossing: New Leaf for Europe and US in June

Summer more excited than others.

3DS game Animal Crossing: New Leaf will flutter down onto European shelves on 14th June, Nintendo has announced. In the US, it'll sprout on 9th June.

The anthropomorphic life simulation has been available in Japan since last year, and proven one of the best-selling titles ever for the 3DS. It's already notched up a staggering 2.7 million sales.

Pretty much every area of the series has been expanded on for the 3DS game. There are plenty more customisation options for your characters, houses and town.

You're also mayor this time around, so you can remodel the town and pass laws such as telling everyone who lives there to go to bed early. How sensible.

Err, we're excited, anyway.
