Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed races onto 3DS this week in Europe

And next week in North America.

Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed is coming out on 3DS this Friday, 8th February in Europe, Sega has confirmed.

It's due next Tuesday, 12th February in North America.

The 3DS version of the game will support up to eight-player multiplayer on both multi-cart or single-cart play. It will also support StreetPass challenges and allow you to race your Mii alongside the cast that includes Sonic, Dr. Eggman, and inexplicably actual NASCAR driver Danicia Patrick.

Martin Robinson bestowed a hearty 9/10 on the PS3 version of the game in his Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed review, where he said it, "manages to be more than just a tribute to the great and good of Sega's past - it does enough to earn its own place alongside them."
