Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Souls Hackers dated for the US in April

UPDATE: Confirmed for Europe!

UPDATE: Devil Summoner Soul Hackers for the Nintendo 3DS will launch in Europe this autumn, NIS America has announced.

ORIGINAL STORY: The latest in the long-running Shin Megami Tensei RPG series, Devil Summoner: Souls Hackers, is due out in the US on 16th April, according to Nintendo of America's recently revealed release schedule.

There's still no word on a European release, and since its US publisher Atlus doesn't extend outside of North America, it will have to be picked up by another company. Perhaps Shin Megami Tensei spin-off Persona 4: Golden's publisher NIS America or Persona 4 Arena's publisher Zen United will have a crack at it, but until anything is announced all we can do is hope.

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Souls Hackers is a 3DS remake of the Japan-only 1997 Sega Saturn game which didn't have the ridiculously long SMT brand attached to its name. A slightly enhanced version of Devil Summoner: Souls Hackers was later released on PlayStation, but this will be the game's first release in the west.
