Steam launches Big Picture mode today

Over thirty games on sale for a week.

Steam's Big Picture mode that tailors Valve's portal to be used on a telly with a gamepad has officially launched today worldwide.

The new mode introduces the brilliant "Daisywheel" for more intuitive typing with a controller, and a new web browser has been added as well that can be accessed while playing a game.

Big Picture mode is currently available in over twenty languages, including German, French, Russian, Korean, and Portuguese.

To commemorate this occasion, Valve is having a sale on over 30 controller-friendly games between now and 10th December.
