Pay what you want for Metro 2033, Darksiders, Red Faction: Armageddon and Company of Heroes

THQ Humble Bundle also throws in Saints Row: The Third if you pay over the average.

We've become accustomed to pay-what-you-want models for indie games, but it's rare to see titles that were full priced retail offerings as recently as a year ago make the cut. That's changed with the THQ Humble Bundle that allows players to name their price for a collection that includes: Metro 2033, Darksiders, Red Faction: Armageddon, Company of Heroes and its two expansions, Opposing Fronts and Tales of Valor.

Pay more than the average - currently at $5.25 - to receive Saints Row: The Third as well. As with all Humble Bundles, the higher people pay over the average, the more it knocks the price down for everyone else.

The THQ Humble Bundle is PC only and distributed via Steam keys. DRM-free soundtracks have been included as well.

Proceeds go to charity; both Child's Play and the American Red Cross. Users decide how much of their money they'd like to go to each charity as well as the Humble Bundle itself, as bandwidth and promotion organising doesn't pay for itself.

The games in this collection were all well received here. We gave Company of Heroes a whopping 10/10, Metro 2033 and Darksiders received 8/10s, and Saints Row: The Third and Red Faction: Armageddon were still recommended with respectable EG 7/10s.
