The Borderlands 2 DLC leaked last month in a PS3 trophy data update has been officially confirmed by Gearbox.

The add-on entitled Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage was announced over twitter on Gearbox's fake account for the Borderlands 2 character, Mr. Torgue, a weapons manufacturer.

"Are you badass enough to survive 'Mister Torgue's Campaign of Carnage?" read the tweet. "I'm legit curious cause I dunno you that well."

The account later added, "here's a picture of me throwin up the horns like a badass."

Gearbox confirmed to us that the price will be the same as that of the last DLC, Captain Scarlett and her Pirate's Booty, i.e. 800 Microsoft Points or 6.20 / $9.99. A release date will be announced in a couple of days.
