New Solatorobo game in the works at CyberConnect2

Red alert.

CyberConnect2 president Hiroshi Matsuyama revealed that work is already underway on a new game set in the anthropomorphic Solatorobo universe.

The news came from Spanish gaming site Koi-Nya (via VG247) where Matsuyama noted at a Barcelona-based Namco Bandai event that he'd like to make another game in the Little Tail Bronx franchise.

Sadly, he could not reveal a platform or any idea when to expect it.

The last game in the series was 2011's DS exclusive action-RPG Solatorobo: Red the Hunter, the spiritual successor to 1998's PlayStation title Tail Concerto.

Our Rich Stanton liked Solatorobo quite a bit. "Even on DS, where good RPGs are plentiful, this is in the top tier," he wrote in his review, before lavishing it with a respectable 8/10. "Solatorobo deserves much better than obscurity," he added.
