The next PixelJunk is a PC game

PixelJunk 1-6 is a 4-player co-op game due out on Steam.

The next PixelJunk game has been announced, and it's for PC.

PixelJunk 1-6, a four-player co-op game, started life as a hobby project by the Q-Games team over a year ago, with work done on weekends and holidays. Now the idea is being expanded for release on PC and Steam.

The series has enjoyed success on PlayStation but there's no mention of a PlayStation Network release for 1-6. If there is enough demand for a console release after the game launches on Steam the developer might consider making one, it said in a FAQ on its website.

Each week Q-Games will update its website to show development logs, giving fans an insight into the creation of the game. Right now there are only four people working on it, so there's no release window.

We do have an image of the game, though, below.
