Silent Hill spin-off Book of Memories will launch for PlayStation Vita on 2nd November, publisher Konami has announced.

Book of Memories marks a departure for the survival horror series, with a new focus on co-operative action.

Puzzles and tests are sprinkled throughout a top-down shooter campaign, in which players can create their own character. You can choose to be a Jock, Bookworm, Rocker, Goth or to be "Preppy".

The game is not canonical to the series.
