Borderlands 2 Mechromancer DLC dated and priced

Split-screen either vertical or horizontal this time.

The Borderlands 2 Mechromancer DLC has a tentative release date of 16th October and price of $10 or 800 Microsoft Points, Gearbox's Randy Pitchford said at PAX Prime this weekend passed.

The Mechromancer DLC can be gotten for free by pre-ordering the game. The Mechromancer is the fifth and DLC-exclusive class that's designed for people who aren't yet confident playing shooters.

Borderlands 2 will also receive four other lumps of downloadable content, which you can either buy separately or with a Season Pass that will eventually save you a couple of quid.

Elsewhere, Gearbox showed that its sequel will be playable online while in split-screen and this time the screen can be divided either vertically or horizontally based on the player's preference.
