New Super Mario Bros. 2 costs £10 more to download from Nintendo's eShop - £40 - than it does to buy in a box from most shops (£29.99).

Fellow substantial 3DS games New Art Academy and Freakyforms Deluxe cost £29.99 and £24.99 from the eShop.

The eShop updates every Thursday, and this week you'll also find virtual console oldie Mystical Ninja starring Golem for £2.70.

On DSiWare there's The Lost Town - The Jungle, and puzzle game Escape the Virus: Shoot-'Em-Up! for £1.80 (3DS)/200 Points (DSi) a pop.

There are some extra bits and pieces for Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy, and there's another Incredible Barbazan video to watch - providing you want to pay £1.40 to do so.
