Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Steam pre-purchase unlocks game a week early

Get all games in the franchise for under Ł13.

Pre-purchase the Steam version of upcoming competitive multiplayer first-person shooter Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and you'll be able to play it a week early, Valve has announced.

Pre-purchase on Steam and you'll get a 10 per cent discount and early access to the beta on 14th August. That discount takes the price of the game down to £10.79 from £11.99. The main launch is 21st August.

Meanwhile, you can get the entire Counter-Strike franchise from Steam for cheap via the Midweek Madness promotion, which ends 9th August. Counter-Strike: Complete includes Counter-Strike, Counter-Strike: Condition Zero, Counter-Strike: Source and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive all for £12.91 - that's a 66 per cent discount on the normal price of £37.96.
