Super Stickman Golf sequel on the way

The first game is free for a limited time, too.

Award-winning procrastination tool Super Stickman Golf is getting a sequel, creator Noodlecake Studios has announced.

Posting on the TouchArcade forums, Noodlecake's Jordan Schidlowsky revealed that the sequel will have asynchronous multiplayer. This enables players to take turns on their own time, rather than have to sync up a time to play with their friends.

Another major new addition is puzzle mode. "These scenario based puzzle holes will bring an all new challenge and set of rewards to even the most seasoned of SSG players," said Schidlowsky.

Additionally, Super Stickman Golf 2 will feature new content like more courses, power ups, environmental hazards, achievements, collectibles and less lag in real-time multiplayer.

Noodlecake will be holding a contest at its official site in which fans are able to download the theme to Super Stickman Golf and remix it. The winner will get their song in the game.

In the meantime, the first Super Stickman Golf is free for a limited time on iTunes. Our Kristan Reed quite liked it.

"Even if golf brings out your inner chainsaw-wielding Alf Garnett, face your demons with this playful physics-based catharsis," he said in his mobile roundup where he awarded it an 8/10.
