Cel-shaded console side-scroller Awesomenauts will arrive for PC on Steam within the next month, developer Ronimo has announced.

A Mac version is also on the cards.

Delightful-looking MOBA Awesomenauts launched first for download on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 earlier this year. See how it looks on PC in a new trailer, below.

"Ever since we've shown the first screens and videos, we've been getting tons of requests to also bring this game to PC," designer Jasper Koning explained. "Well, we agree! We love the idea of being able to play Awesomenauts with our friends through Steam using our trusty mice and keyboards. So we went ahead and actually built it!"

Fans of the game have also helped construct the PC build, aiding in text translation and offering feedback on balance and controls. The PC version will also contain the extra characters due in a forthcoming console patch.

"Awesomenauts is a tough game to walk away from, with a just-one-more-go dynamic that tugs you back in, time and again," Simon Parkin wrote in Eurogamer's 7/10 . "This is a deep, engaging, beautiful game, a welcome alternative to DOTA and League of Legends for the console crowd."
