Assassin's Creed 3 Liberation trailer makes the Big Easy look easy

The Vita exclusive Assassin's Creed 3 Liberation has shown off a good bit of gameplay in this new trailer just released by Ubisoft.

The trailer follows new character Aveline, who must use her hereditary assassin skills to ward of Spanish forces set on taking over the South during the Louisiana Rebellion around 1768.

At the end of the trailer, the Mysteries of the Bayou pack is revealed as a pre-order bonus. This includes a ceremonial dagger, alligator hunting hat, upgraded poison dart pouch and a "Mackandal bodyguard" as a multiplayer character.

Last time we parkoured around New Orleans it was in Sucker Punch's inFamous 2, only this takes place nearly a quarter millennium earlier, so there are ostensibly fewer street performers. But also less jazz.

Assassin's Creed 3 Liberation is due out the same day as its console counterpart, Assassin's Creed 3 on 30th October.
